At SpAItial, our mission is to bring generation and reconstruction together. Echo-2 showed how a single photo or panorama can become an explorable 3D world. Echo-3 builds on that capability, using a more detailed capture to recreate real places with greater fidelity.
A quick phone capture is inevitably incomplete. Some surfaces are only briefly visible, and the camera misses others entirely. Echo-3 builds the scene from what you capture, then fills in the missing regions so they match the surroundings. The goal is to preserve what you captured and complete what you missed.
The result combines faithful appearance with clean, accurate geometry at real-world scale. Reconstructions are metric, so dimensions and distances match the real space.

A side-by-side comparison
We reconstructed the same scene with SpAItial and other capture apps (Polycam, KIRI Engine, and Niantic Scaniverse), following a similar path through the space in each app. In this comparison, SpAItial produces sharp surfaces with no visible floaters: the stray fragments that appear suspended in space.

Echo-3 for enterprise
Echo-3 will also be available through an API for enterprise customers, so they can add reconstruction to their own products and workflows. Its combination of visual fidelity and metric geometry makes it useful for real estate visualization, inputs to simulations, and scene understanding and editing by AI agents.
